It costs ZERO to discuss the House Watch service with us; however, failing to call us leaves your home and belongings vulnerable during your absence, and that could be costly
3 Important Details
- We GUARANTEE, in writing, that your home will be watched on a schedule agreeable to you or the watch is FREE*. We put it in writing!
- If we fail to deliver your report and photos within 48 hours, we slash our price in 1/2 for each 12 hours late.*
- YOU pick the frequency! Bronze (Monthly), Silver (Bi-Weekly) or GOLD (Weekly)
- Inspect air conditioning, temperature, humidity, and air filter (includes filter change every 2 months – client provides filters).
- Check kitchen appliances (e.g., refrigerator, oven, microwave).
- Run water in toilets, showers, and sinks to prevent stagnation.
- Run garbage disposal.
- Check for water leaks, mold, and moisture.
- Monitor landscape and pool water/level.
- Empty mailbox and remove spam/ads from mail.
- Turn fans on level 1 (low) if necessary.
- Check that windows and doors are locked.
- Inspect the breaker box for functionality.
- Check water and heating systems.
- Inspect the exterior of the house for signs of wear or bugs (e.g., wasps, carpenter bees, fire ants).
- Check for insects or bugs within the house.
- Perform checks on Internet, TV, and phone services.
- Throw away food that may expire.
- Hold mail packages and place them inside the Property, if requested.
- Verify washer and dishwasher doors are open to prevent mold.
- Check pool pump operation and monitor appropriate pool water level.
- Check drainage after excessive rain.
- Run dishwasher if unused for an extended period.
- Turn on/off ice makers as needed.
- Empty garbage cans after Client’s departure.
- Inspect garage for issues and ensure it is closed.
- Check the cage screen (e.g., pool or patio enclosure) for damage.
- Ensure necessary valves (e.g., main water valve, toilets, sinks) are turned off, if applicable.
- Monitor date and time of home watch visits.
- Reset clocks after power outages.
- Remove batteries from remotes to prevent leaks.
- Perform interior and exterior light bulb checks.
- Remove weeds from yards.
- Take scanned pictures of mail.
- Shut off main water valve or specific fixtures (toilets/sinks) beyond standard checks.
- Open/close home for workers (e.g., contractors, repair services).
- Test and exchange batteries for smoke/CO2 alarms.
- Implement hurricane/storm precautions (e.g., securing outdoor items).
- Replace light bulbs as needed.
- Drive a vehicle to maintain battery health.
- Accept furniture deliveries.
- Perform arrival preparations (e.g., turning on utilities, stocking essentials).
- Concierge services (15% additional fee, e.g., coordinating repairs or deliveries).
